Philippa Cole [Lisa]
After graduating from the prestigious Drama Centre London, Philippa worked with world-renowned dramatists at the Graeae Theatre Company. Her theatre credits include, And Others as well as the Spanish drama The House of Bernarda Alba. In 2019, she performed at the National Theatre before touring the UK as the lead role in Another England. Her television career includes appearances in the BBC’s Armchair Detectives, CBBC’s 4 O’Clock Club, and ITV’s Coronation Street.
As an amputee she is passionate about the fair representation of disabled actors on television and stage and continues to fight for diversity in an industry she loves.
William Fox [Dave]
William has enjoyed a long career as an actor for screen and stage, having been a regular in television shows such as Coronation Street, The A Word, Wolfblood, The Syndicate, and most recently as a series regular in Jamie Johnson. William also appears in feature film Peterloo directed by Mike Leigh.
Joshua Spanswick [Kieran]
Joshua is one of the rising stars of Manchester’s drama scene, honing his craft at the Rush Acting School. He recently played a young Noel Gallagher in Liam Gallagher’s new music video single One of Us. An accomplished dancer in multiple disciplines, was also hand-picked to compete in the global Dance Excellence event in LA.
Gillian Waugh [Linda (Gran)]
Gillian Waugh has been a familiar face of British television for three decades. A regular in TV staples such as Children’s Ward, Emmerdale, Coronation Street and recently Hollyoaks, she has also appeared in BAFTA-winning In the Flesh, Silent Witness, and Tom Hooper’s acclaimed feature film The Damned United.
